Mentor2Youth focuses on academic, personal and professional excellence. Our quality programming focuses on the core components of leadership, character, soft skills, life skills, work skills and academic achievement. Currently we are mainly a volunteer based organization with a small staff that is serious and dedicated about having a large impact in the community. We are tireless in our efforts to bring about change.
Our mission is to help support and guide our youth down a path of academic and personal achievement.
We understand the importance of an education but, believe this must be supplemented with life-long learning skills to truly impact youth. We are tireless in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of our youth. We believe the kids are our future but, know without the correct moral guidance, that future can be dim. We help those seeking help in a time of need.
Our non-profit organization serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. We merely support our fellow citizens, and serve as a guiding light.
Have you ever thought about how much you could change things just by volunteering?
Our vision is to become a state-wide non-profit organization that provides youth services catered towards education, mentoring, arts and culture, job readiness, and sports.
We would like to eventually provide these services to the parents and adults of the youth that we will serve throughout the many communities in Michigan. We expect to provide quality services that meet the goals of our organization. An end-result will be that we help close the racial-achievement gap, prevent high-school drop-outs, prepare students for college and the workforce, prevent recidivism among juveniles and provide other resources and opportunities for our youth and families to develop academically, personally and professionally.
