Thinking about tutoring?

Our tutoring program will be working with 70-100 elementary age youth during the 2016-2017 school year. We are looking for college students and professionals willing to be trained in teaching reading and math and core academic skills will the support of our staff and online learning modules.

Our tutoring program is a mix of small group instruction and online learning modules students participate in.

Mentor2Youth offers its tutors flexibility in there schedule. We understand all the other obligations and priorities that you may possess and are grateful for you still wanting to volunteer therefore we only request that you volunteer 1-2 hours a week of your time towards supporting our youth.

We provide you with resources

Mentor2Youth provides you with all the necessary supplies/resources and support staff to ensure that regardless of whether you have teaching experience or not, you will be able to effectively educate and instruct students as they learn and grow.

2016-2017 School Year – Parkridge Community Center

Starting October 2016, Mentor2Youth will be providing academic tutoring at Parkridge Community Center during after school hours on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm. What we are looking for in our volunteers:

We will expect that college students will commit to consistently showing up weekly for a full semester (professionals would be expect to volunteer for duration of program). Our tutoring program will operate until June 7th.
